I spent a year at Auggie as part of a year-abroad-programme. Speech codes and obnoxious Leftists on staff and in the student body are what I remember the most about my experience. Scandals at the Students' Union and students being tossed out of school for frivolous, baseless allegations of putting down the capabilities of non-white Hispanics, aboriginal Americans, and black students were not exactly uncommon.
The staff care about the students and truly want them to meet their full potential. The swimmers on the swim team are the nicest, hardest working group of kids you can find. It is a great place to get a great education!
